Wound Healing
Accelerates healing of chronic wounds and radiation injuries by driving oxygen into damaged tissue and stimulating new blood vessel formation.
Advanced hyperbaric oxygen therapy delivered through the world's most sophisticated chamber system, guided by continuous physician oversight and personalised to your biology.
You rest within a pressurised chamber and breathe pure oxygen, allowing far more of it to reach deep into your body than ordinary breathing ever could.
That abundance gives your cells the fuel they need to recover, regenerate, and feel at their best.
HOW IT WORKS · AT THE SURFACE
At sea level, red blood cells carry close to all the oxygen they can hold. Ordinary breathing simply has little room left to give your tissue more.

By bringing oxygen to the places that need it most, the therapy supports the natural repair that recovery depends on. Many people find it helps them return to themselves sooner.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is used across a wide range of needs, from the well established to the actively emerging. Your physician will always confirm where it can genuinely help you, but these are the areas where it most often plays a part.

Accelerates healing of chronic wounds and radiation injuries by driving oxygen into damaged tissue and stimulating new blood vessel formation.

Enhances neuroplasticity and cerebral blood flow, supporting recovery from traumatic brain injury, stroke, and post-concussion symptoms.

Clinically shown to improve attention, memory, and processing speed in healthy adults by boosting oxygen availability to the brain.

Helps alleviate persistent fatigue, cognitive fog, and multi-organ symptoms through deep tissue oxygenation and targeted anti-inflammatory effects.

Reduces chronic inflammation linked to conditions such as fibromyalgia, helping to ease pain, fatigue, and stiffness through enhanced oxygen delivery.

Stimulates the mobilisation and proliferation of your body's own stem cells, supporting natural tissue repair and regeneration throughout the body.
HBOT at Lifecore

Your treatment protocol is developed by LifeCore's clinical team following comprehensive evaluation of your diagnostic profile. Whilst the chamber's 3 ATA capability provides maximum therapeutic range, your physician determines the precise pressure, duration, and frequency appropriate to your physiology and objectives. This individualised approach integrates real-time biomarker data, imaging findings, and response indicators to refine treatment parameters throughout your care.

During hyperbaric oxygen therapy, you enter a pressurised chamber where atmospheric pressure is elevated significantly above normal sea-level conditions. The Perry Baromedical Sigma 40 at LifeCore operates at up to 2.4 ATA (atmospheres absolute), equivalent to 2.07 bar or approximately 30 psi.

Your comfort and privacy are our priority. From check-in to results review, every step is discreet, efficient, and fully guided by trained medical staff.
At Lifecore, this therapy is delivered through the Perry Baromedical Sigma 40, recognised as the world's largest single-person hyperbaric chamber. Its generous proportions, with a 40.5-inch interior, mean room to settle and breathe rather than the closeness so many chambers impose.
It reaches pressures of up to 3 ATA, among the highest available in clinical practice, giving our physicians a wide and precise therapeutic range to work within. Most importantly, no two protocols are alike. Your pressure, your session length, and your rhythm of visits are all shaped by your own physiology and goals, then refined as your body responds.

A few of the questions our guests ask most often. If you would like to explore something specific, our physicians are happy to talk it through with you.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) involves breathing 100% oxygen inside a pressurised chamber. The increased pressure allows your body to absorb significantly more oxygen than usual, supporting cellular repair, regeneration, and recovery throughout the body.
You rest comfortably inside the chamber as the pressure gently increases over a few minutes. Most sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes. You can read, listen to music, or simply relax while your body absorbs the enriched oxygen.
When delivered under proper medical supervision, HBOT is considered very safe. Every session at Lifecore is overseen by physicians trained in hyperbaric medicine, with continuous monitoring and protocols tailored to your physiology.
It depends on your goals and your body's response. Some protocols are completed in 10 sessions, while regenerative and longevity programmes may extend across 30 to 40. Your physician will design a course that fits your needs and review it as you progress.
HBOT supports recovery, cognitive performance, skin renewal, immune function, and healthy ageing. It is also used clinically for wound healing, neurological recovery, and post-viral fatigue. A consultation determines whether it is right for you.
Most people tolerate HBOT very well. Some experience mild ear pressure during compression, similar to flying, which resolves quickly. Our team guides you through simple techniques to equalise comfortably throughout the session.
